FileStork is a free web service that allows you to create an online file request form in which the files uploaded through the form get fed right into your Dropbox account. An email with the form link can then be sent to one or more email addresses. The recipient will be able to upload the file through a simple web form, bypassing any email storage limitations.

What You Need:

>> Dropbox account

1. Link Your Dropbox Account

You will login to FileStork using your Dropbox account.

The first step is to head to the FileStork.net website and click the “Get Started” button at the bottom of the page. After doing this, you will be redirected to the Dropbox website where you will need to login and Allow access to your account.

2. Create a Request

After linking your account, you will be able to create a new request. There are two different types of requests that you can create: A one-time request, or a standalone request. A one-time request will allow the recipient to use the form exactly one time to upload a file to your Dropbox account; a standalone request, however, will allow multiple uploads from the same form.

You can optionally set a password to make uploading completely private.

Pick your request method, and then fill out the form. You will need to fill out the recipient email addresses, a request name, request message, folder name to be saved in Dropbox, check allowable file type (ex. Documents, Adobe files, Executable files, etc.), and optionally set a password for the form. When you have finished filling out the form, click the Create Request button at the bottom of the page to have your requests delivered to the recipients.

3. Wait, and Receive

Recipients will not know the files are going directly into your Dropbox.

Your recipients will receive an email with a link to your FileStork upload web page. After visiting the site, the recipient will be able to simply select files on their computer, and send them to you. If you selected to be notified when a new file is uploaded, you will get an email from FileStork.
